The fabric is beautiful and the dress is well made. I wasn't sure from the images on the website what the Cape was like, but it does up with a button clasp at the top and is open which is nice. The straps are adjustable. I found the dress large though. I ordered a small, and im normally an Australian size 8 with a d cup bust and it was pretty loose still. But overall still an ok fit. If you have a small bust though I think it may be loose. The lining of the dress underneath is about knee length as well, and the top layer is mid calf
